I would have it welded in, can't speak for what others would do.

And you’ll need a extension piece of piping to fill in the gap. Would be easier to just take to a shop and have them do it.

You'll need piping, reducers and that is a weld-in unit.

I'd go to a shop.

If you're going for loud and aggressive with the 10 series, why don't you save a few bucks and have the muffler shop just remove the muffler completely? My buddy has the 10 series on his RAM and I did the muffler delete. My truck sounds way nicer than his IMO. Its pretty dang loud but at highway speeds I can barely even hear the exhaust.

Completely agree with this, I have the super 10, and I wish I had just straight piped, if your worried that would be to loud have them keep the resonators. I bought the direct fit online, would gave been cheaper and probably sounded better to bring to a shop and cut out the exhaust. Don't get me wrong it sounds good but once the truck warms up its really only loud when getting on it
