Well, I broke down last weekend and was really hoping it was just gonna be a cam job. As rough as it was running I had my doubts tho.. I opened it up this last weekend and my worst fears were confirmed The valve spring broke and took out the cylinder. The cylinder walls were tore up, so it looks like I’m motor shopping now…

I wish! So far my budget has me pricing squirrels in a cage and my power will be dependent on the protein content of the food I can afford lol

I know it will be asked, I heard no pronounce ticking or other indicator something was about to go wrong. I took off from a stop sign and it all just went to hell.. we found the rod on top of the motor
