What's up guys. I have a 1500 5.7 2wd and I have been driving it for almost a year and I absolutely love it. I've been driving her pretty much stock (k&n filter was only thing installed). So now I want to spend a lil cash that I have been saving to fix her up and make her feel more like mines. I'm going to get led bulbs for the whole truck and maybe check out recons lights. But I also want to give it a leveling kit cause I feel like it has some rake. And I want some ground clearance. I want to also check out some a/t tires and some wheels. Just would like some people ideas on which direction to go in.

I think that there are lots of options to go with for your ram but the first question u have to ask your self is, what do you want your ram to look like? If people tell you what to put on, then it's not really yours is it?

I'd leave the rake if you plan on loading an atv in it. If you do the level you'll want rear airbags to keep it level with some weight in it. The air lift 1000s are cheap and would be an excellent option.
I'm going to keep my stock wheels on this one and get some at tires eventually. Looking at the bfg at2 or cooper atp in stock 275 60 20 size. I have debated going with a 17x9 wheel with 0 offset and 295 70 17 tires to give it a meaner look.
I wouldn't mind getting some brighter bulbs for headlights and fog lights. I have yet to figure out an economical way to do this.

A pair of bilsteins to level it run about $200. The RCX 6" lift kit is about $1400. Depends on if you want a little or a lot, and how much you want to spend.

You can also combine those. I think some people still have some rake after lift kits. The other option is a body lift if you want some height at a cheaper price.

Bilstein's @ 1.4" setting.... That will still leave you a slight rake for towing, but it will not look low in the front. You can still rock the stock size 275/60/20's and have your tires look good.

Thats my thought.
