Incase anyone was wondering what hail does to Bakflip HD

Big storm couple nights ago. Noticed had some damage on the hood from hail so i checked out our other truck and yep....

That sucks. I've had my retrax in many hailstorms, one which damaged our roof and got the truck repainted, and not a mark on the cover. Its a synthetic plastic type material that can go through serious abuse.

Just a thought.

that sucks, but since you have damage on your hood too you should be able to get it replaced by insurance, and then get the f1 or there is a new one, i think its called fibermax

they replaced mine for acorn / walnut damage......but there was no damage to the truck. In this case, its obvious that a MAJOR hailstorm hit it, and.........insurance will cover it.
