Hi all, Over the past couple of years I have been having issues with the lightning bolt light. I have read in the forums in the past that the throttle body on the Rams have been a constant pain in the **** and will throw this fault light. There is never a fault code when I scan with the OBD. A few years ago I replaced the Throttle body, and yet it continues. I have taken it off multiple times since then to clean it etc....as some have also suggested...then I re-teach via the gas pedal etc..etc. It still acts up to this day.
Although it is very intermittent, its becoming very annoying. It tends to happen mostly upon accelerating from a stop...the truck never stalls out but seems to struggle momentarily and then its all good. Could this be an issue with the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor? Has anyone had this issue and rectified it by changing out the APPS?
I'm planning on a 4 hour fishing trip north next week and I'm a bit hesitant on taking this vehicle. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance
