Is it a Light Mount?

Hello all. Truck noob here. Just got a near mint 2014 Quad Cab 1500 SXT. Really loving the ride and features.

Can someone please tell me what the bit of plastic about 6” long on top of the cab on the driver’s side is for?
Is it a light mount? The owners manual seems to have this info well hidden.

Without a pic I assume you're talking about the Sirius satellite radio antenna??? Definitely not a light mount.

It's all good man - we all don't know EVERY thing there is to know about these trucks. but yes, that's your satellite radio antenna. I'd recommend not mounting a light to it lol

I wish they would paint them body color with the clear coats also. Camouflage that MF especially when they put it on the front of the cab between the clearance lights.

For as much as I Care about Sirius radio - I SHOULD drill through it and use it to mount a light. LOL
