My '19 purchased new in Jan '20 only has 31K miles on it and is showing some signs that there is an issue with the DPF--possibly a pressure sensor. I scheduled an appointment at the dealership I purchased it from. Got up at 4am to be there before 7am and the service writer basically turned me away saying all DPF work--even simple diagnosis--requires the truck be left with them for several days. And he said what I was experienced with the DPF was normal, but it was not. "DPF FULL. SEE DEALERSHIP" is not normal. The engine is now knocking/ hesitating at cold start ups

So, this has me wondering. Can I be sure that my Mopar Extended Factory Warranty covers the DPF? My thoughts are that it should since it is part of the drive train.

Read your warranty contract. It should spell out exactly what is covered. Every one I’ve ever purchased did.

Dealership Service (lack of performance) is a widespread story of disappointment. I don’t know if it’s as bad as reported in discussion-forums or not. (Forums are well-known to be the repository of mal-contented participants…with rumors that “happy” owners don’t visit forums…that may be…)
But I have a perspective as a former new-car-dealer “technician” (back when we were simply “mechanics” ) … as well as a new vehicle owner with an alarmingly-bad and deceitful local dealer service dept. (Cecil Atkission in central Texas)

I feel fortunate however to have located a Very Good and Responsive CJDR dealership (Covert/Bee Caves CJDR) only a few miles further away who, on very short notice, quickly took my truck in, and cheerfully worked on resolving a problem for my truck purchased out-of-state elsewhere and did not even charge for the hour or so investigating the complaint (which they found, and are still willing to assist the actual out-of-state selling dealer in the resolution.)
I’m not shy about naming names when the story is told accurately and truthfully, and believe that to be one way to straighten out the bad actors.

Bad actors, indeed. The world is filled with them. "You can not love both God, and money." The older I get, the more clearly I see that.

You stated that "You can not love both God, and money." I'm here to inform you that yes you can that is if your god is Money....

Too true. Thanks for affirming! To the point, I do not have "old" money. He spared me from that because being lascivious as I am, I would have lost my soul in a New York minute. .

Yes, and they like Joel Osteen are liars and deceivers, only in it for their own benefit. How it is that so many people can be so gullible and easily misled is a mystery. Christ warned that there would be many deceivers. I would not want to be in their shoes come the White Throne Judgment.

I once (between jobs) flew part-time for one of them. When I pulled-off an extra-ordinary flight that resolved a time-problem for one of his fellow TV evangelists… the evangelist shook my hand as a good-by/thank-you gesture…but in his hand, he was attempting to palm me a $50 bill as a gratuity.

I didn’t accept “tips” for doing my job…so I handed it back to him and said, “No, Thank You…. Reverend Burchfield pays me quite well.”

The evangelist stuffed the $50 into my shirt pocket…and patted the pocket firmly against my chest saying, “This is the HARVEST, Brother!…. this is the HARVEST”…. and then he turned to board another airplane standing-by.

I guess I just didn’t know the vocabulary.

(My own church held a special offering for an orphanage the following Sunday which received that “Harvest”.)

I was rewarded with a better flying job shortly thereafter.
