New to the forum, new (used) truck owner. Similar question, but wasn't sure if I should create a new thread. 2017 1500 5.7 big horn 4x4. I have at least one broken manifold bolt, leak/tapping not horrible yet, but was looking at the jba silver ceramic shorty headers. Don't particularly want to have to heat shield everything and read that with the silver ceramic, it wasn't necessary? Also, any known issues with the fitament? Looking at getting jba headers, remflex gaskets, stage 8 locking hardware. Thoughts?

Give up on the Stage 8 bolts, you can't get all the locking tabs on every bolt, and in a year when the headers crack and you have to remove them, you'll be looking for the guy that sold you the bolts with a big hammer,as they make taking the headers back off a royal b!atch

hardware isnt necessary. The hardware supplied, and even stock hardware is fine. The issue on the RAM 5.7 is the OEM manifold having thin flanges that warp, that breaks the hardware.

We offer JBA and can provide you a quote. I will say JBA has been hit or miss in terms of quality and fitment. I recommend AFE shorties or BD manifolds. We can quote you on any of these and also provide more info if interested. Send me a message if we can help
