I've installed the JET 10183 180deg Thermostat 2 years ago and ran without issue, but I noticed lately that when I start the truck in the morning to bring my daughter to school the truck will get up 212 before it open and when it's open it will not go below 195 (fan on or on the hwy). Before it would never get this hot before it open and would normally keep the truck in the 186 range.

Overflow level didn't move and there's coolant up to the radiator cap when cold, I use the right coolant when I did the tstat so it shouldn't be contaminated.

Anyone else got any issue with their JET tstat, is mine failing? What about the STANT 48798?

I went through 3 of those pieces of crap thermostats in less then 6 months, finally gave up on them and switched to a Stant thermostat.Mine did the same thing as yours is doing now. The Stants been in for 3 years with no issues. I lost a lot of respect for the Jet T-stats,as the speed shop I got them from, warrentied all 3,but Jet wouldn't warrenty them for the speed shop,so the little local speed shop, got stuck for all 3.They've since quit carry'ing the Jet t-stats,and won't even order you 1 anymore.

Replace it, I've had two in previous hemis fail after roughly 30K miles.
