@JHoward ,the pics might not be the greatest,lol.Like i said it's rude and crude,but it works good. It's made out of pieces of scrap i had laying around,a piece of old rebar with a notch cut in the end,then i welded a piece of square tubing onto the notch to give it a bit wider foot to grab the petcock,i bent it so it'll reach in past the crossmember and grab the petcock.

I've seen snakes where I reside that look just like that "tool"... neat idea, doesn't look complicated to conjure up something similar, thanks Rick
I hadn't thought of it as a snake,but now that you mention it,it does,doesn't it. :Big Laugh:
About all i'll say is it does the job,but i'm sure a guy could come up with something a bit better.
I've thought about building it a bit better,but lazy kicks in,and that's as far as i get:Big Laugh:
