I have had a few friends do that with Z71s, haven't seen or heard of any Ram's doin it... but I dont think it's too big of a deal. Might wear out the front suspension over time from bein cranked up, but I could be wrong... I'm sure someone will chime in soon with better info

you could get the same result from just cranking your stock keys and save the money, but it you put blocks in the rear also you will keep the rake look.

My buddy did this with his z71 and he got 4inches of lift in front and a 2 inch block in the rear. Wish some one has tried this on a ram

What size tire are you wanting to run?

you will never get 4" lift on the front of your truck with or without aftermarket keys. if you want that much lift, crank your torsion bars 2" to level the truck and get a 3" body lift.

Just crank your bars and run 35s...if you add aftermarket keys and then crank them I thinking your CVs are going to be maxed out.

ok, i see in your sig that you already cranked your t-bars....disregard my previous post telling you to crank them...LOL

Aftermarket keys won't give you much more and like HKkid said you will really be maxing out the cv anlge. With your truck leveled you should be able to run 35's and then add the body lift.

Yea definitely..and that allows you to get the expensive tires first vs. adding body lift and rolling on small tires

I have aftermarket keys and got a 2.5 to 3in lift in the front. (did have to add 2in blocks in the back) I run 35's just fine and my cv's are maxxed! Any ideas on a 3-4 in suspension lift for these trucks?

keys are by far the cheapest but will do damage in the long run.

Has your buddy blown any CVs? I did 3" on my chevy and went through CVs like crazy.

Dont go anymore that 2.5" of level in the front, or you will regret it.
