Are you saying you purchased a FOB for your truck after you bought it? If so, was it programmed to your truck? Where did the FOB come from?

Does your build sheet show that the truck is equipped with remote keyless entry?

Because if the truck never came with the wiring, programming and solenoids inside the doors that actuate the locks, programming new fobs isn't going to accomplish much.

Unless of course, you buy and install the needed hardware, then activate it with AlfaOBD.

If your Ram came from the factory with 2 plain keys, no fobs, then that's all it's meant to have. That's all my '18 Ram has and I'm happy with it. I hate fobs in my pocket. Check your build sheet:
No records found corresponding to the VIN provided

Dodge/Ram>Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)>Body Computer

then

Car configuration change

Find RKE > VehConfig 3-RKE System Present>Yes

But, you need to have all the wiring and solenoids present. If your truck didn't come with the equipment, it may not even have the wiring harness connectors.
