im looking at replacing my speakers with kicker cs type speakers due to their attractive pricing and the light duty that they will face. What I mean by that is I don't have an upgraded system nor do I want one meaning no amps or subs just looking to replace the speakers. so my question is which type of cs should I get? just want a cleaner/louder sound from my factory system.:rockit:

Don't go the kicker route then. Find a good pair of 6x9's and a good pair of 4". The 6x9's go in the front and the 4s go in the rear. I had some kickers in my truck and ended up replacing them with some Jensen speakers.

Thanks for the reply I've seen some JB's GTO for sale for half off so I'm going that route

Another thing that will help out with sound quality is replacing your head unit with an aftermarket one. Most people have their own favorites so I will not go into that. Just make sure that you get all the proper hook-ups and the can-bus interface and you should be fine.

I'm gonna leave the head unit I like the look of factory and I was told the jbl speakers are replacement for stock systems so I'd be fine keeping it
