I’m curious to see what different styles are out there that you guys went with.

Well, I knew I needed one 11,000 miles ago but I put it off. It happened today. Permanent tattoo on the hood.

PW is pretty high and I tow a 4 position sled trailer in northern maine a lot.....think snow, sand, strippers, salt chunks and **** everywhere.....I have 2 small nicks at 35k miles..maybe have the front of the hood wrapped but then that gets a couple of nicks and looks like ****...truck stuff...drive it...your vette on the other hand!

Had to dig back a while in my amazon account but I found it. Went on with double sided tape but held up great!

I use 3M clear paint protection film. Rocker panels and door edges too.
Anything but one of those plastic shield thingys on any car or truck ever...in your whole life.

TravelinRam:

Once you get more miles on your Ram, you will start noticing that where the top of the windshield ends & the metal roof begins.
That area begins to get sand blasted.
My 2009 Dodge Ram was bad, but i mostly travel in the lane that is on the farthest right. the Slow Lane or Truckers Lane.
When i sold that Dodge Ram, i took it to the Auto Body Shop that i use, they painted a few areas besides above the windshield.
A local Gym Teacher bought it from me.

You'd need a damn ladder to see that, meanwhile you have to look at that smoked plastic pos on the front of your truck forever.. Im a hard no if I wasn't clear before ;-) born before 1950, just go for it...im 59, but chisled out of fine imported marble.

You can't see the Plastic when you sit in the trucks seat.
you have to be beside it or in front of it.
At least on my 4th Gen Ram.

Maybe you would see it in your newer Ram ?
