I want to level my '11. I found what looks to be a pretty tough kit on eBay. Comes with 2 billet aluminum 3" spacers with all hardware needed. $50 shipped is the price. Any input on a kit like this found on eBay??

3" is too much for these trucks for just a leveling kit. Spend the extra couple of bucks on either a rcx or hbs kit

Wouldn't a 3" spacer give you like 6 inches of lift? that doesn't sound right to me.

no it would not give you 6 inches of lift. personally i wouldnt buy anything from ebay for your suspension. for your safety go with something that is proven, the 2.5 level kit from hbs is decently priced or you could send FastnUgly a message abd have him give you a price quote for the ones he carries.

just my 2 cents

-The spacer itself is not 3", it gives 3" of lift to the front end.

-There have been a lot sold, and no negative feedback about the spacers. They seem to be pretty stout being C&Ced from a solid block of aluminum.

-3" would be too much of a lift for the front end?? I want to be level or have a bit of a bulldog look. Don't want to drop the coin right now on a full lift.

-the name of the spacers are "moto fab lifts". Anyone heard of them?

Huh.... I hope that ran out of your mouth before you had a chance to catch it - :Wedgie:

Just about every major brand of ANYTHING for this truck is on EBay, Its a matter of just watching who you buy from being proven, and knowing what you are buying.

I agree giving Supporters the 1st crack though :happy160:

I went with 2.5" from Supreme Suspensions (ON EBay) and the front of my truck is now .25" lower than the rear. I have heard of people putting on 3" but the kits usually include a 1" spacer for the rear so I would assume 3" is too much and would make it look squatted.

Did you have to get an alignment done with the 2.5" kit?

Your taking the front end apart - you always have to get it aligned. I went to a place that checks it 1st and there is no cost if its not out and mine just happened it wasn't.

Gotcha. Ya think a 3" would be too much of lift for everything else stock? I'm not opposed to havering that raked look...the front being higher than the back...

I have a 2012 ram 1500 and about a month ago I had bilstein 5100 adjustable gas shocks installed in the front I set the height at 2.1 and it lifted by front end up just about 2 inches and back stayed pretty much same height. over all my front nose is pretty even with the back much better looking and my ride is still very smooth. I would recommend looking into these shocks they appear to be safer for your truck if you research bilstein has a nice write up on why you should choose shocks vs leveling pucs
don't get me wrong iam sure the pucs work but for 200 bucks or less you can have a nice set of shocks that lift the nose and keep the nice ride
