License Plate Light

My 2016 Ram Limited left side license plate lamp will not work. I have tried two new bulbs and they didn’t work. The right side license plate lamp works. Any ideas?

check for loose or broken wires. Are you getting the light out warning?

I know this sounds silly but did you push the bulb in far enough ? Also, try flipping the bulb.

I say from experience. I installed LED and had to push them in hard for it to fit. And the bulbs have to go a certain way. At least for my amazon specials

Give it a shot.

I’ve flipped the bulb as well as try two brand new ones. I pushed them in as for as they will go. Even checked the little wires on the bulb to make sure they were in the proper place. Still no left side license plate lamp.

Found the problem. The previous owner replaced the bumper. Who ever did the work bent the ground pin where the harness plugs into the receptacle. Good as new.
