lift add on ?

hey guys this is my first post,
2000 dodge ram 1500 5.2L with 2.5inch skyjacker lift coils with 3 inch rear blocks and i want to add on a 2inch coil spaces on the front, will it work and what else am i gonna need?

it won't work, you don't ever want to mix lift coils with spacers.

you could try lift spindles.

If you want to do that an your 4x4 your going to need control arms, a pitman arm and a track bar drop (an adjustable track bar would be a good idea)

You might as well buy a 4" or 6" kit for what it costs an sell your leveling springs

If you are 2wd you'll new a spindle lift for anymore height

Or a body lift

thx guys gonna get some pics soon, im 4wd no spindles :) the kit i have on my truck now has lift spring i believe a drop pitman arm and track bar bracket already soo ill prob only need lower control arms... i havent really looked but wheres a good online place to order stuff for our trucks

The suspension mods the OP suggested will not work well because they will uncenter your front axle under his truck.

I would suggest a proper 5 inch suspension lift with new front springs, a better track bar setup and new rear leaf springs. That will allow proper caster setting and center the axle under the truck for proper tracking. You'll also need both upper and lower arms to do this. The proper suspension system will allow proper sway bar geometry and handling.

Lifts follow a certain formula of price= quality. In other words you get what you pay for. Medium quality stuff can be found at Top gun customz, high quality products can be found at Dodge off road.
