Lift help

Hey y'all!

So I have. 2012 Ram Lkne Star crew can Hemi. so far I have installed a 6" RCX lift with 2" pro comp shocks in the fron(similar to Bilstien 5100's) also i am running 37's on 20's. and I am looking to add a body lift. I want to install the RCX 1.25" body lift.

the question I have is how much did it got you to have it installed at a shop? and if anyone has this same setup PLEASE post a picture.

A few members here have installed body lifts on their 4th generation Rams. Most all agree that it isn't very hard. Just time consuming and tedious.

Simple on a newer truck and could be a pain on a older truck. Simply because the bolts are some rusted on older trucks. Take your time and really study the directions and go step by step. Kind of like building a model car.

What gears do you have? I am still debating on 37's. Post a pic of your truck?

I would say that it might be a little harder to find a way to crank up each side of the cab with that much lift already on it. You are gonna have to find a tall jack or someway to fabricate a brace to jack each side of the body up. I say let a shop do it. Call around...I found a guy here in NC that owns a place, he's gonna install my 2.5" level and 1.25" body lift for under 500.

I called an offroad place and asked them about installing bilstein 5100's and a body lift their quote was: $2400= bend over. Screw that.
They also quoted me on a 3" body lift with the bilstein's installed, but still. That's crazy. I could take the same stuff to the guy I know and get it done for under 1000.

Bilsteins and 1.5" BL in my garage, by myself for price of rented Spring compressors from auto zone...under 1000 is still ridiculous.

I paid 300 bucks for my 3" body lift install.. but that's in Louisiana

Lots of shops in LA like Cajun Offroad charge $100 per inch of lift.
