Hello everyone. My name is Joe. I have a 2020 1500 Tradesman 4 x2 with a 5.7 Hemi. Last week the lightning bolt warning light started coming on when I start the truck. It does not stay on. The truck is running fine. I took it to my mechanic and he connected it to his diagnostic system an found no errors. He was not able to stop the warning light from coming on at start up. Is anyone else having this situation and have you had it fixed? I will be driving this truck across the country and I don't want to get stuck out there. Thanks.

My light turns on and illuminates briefly but goes off once truck is started and running. What I see on MY 19 truck just as a ref, not a suggestion either way. If U trust yer mechanic and are happy with what he said, OK. If not, see another mechanic for a 2nd opinion to get peace of mind. All just IMHO.

Same story here. Mine would come on for a few seconds every now and then, cleaned the throttle body out but that's about it. It quit doing it after a while.

Had the same thing happen on the 2021 Laramie that I traded in but went to the dealer and they had to flash the ECU on the truck. They wouldn't tell me what did this, dealers are so cold when asking a question about your Ram truck, like they don't want you to learn anything. Keep you coming back spending money.

No It's not cold it is that the manufacturer puts out a service bulletin that say's if customer complains of this this and this check this and do this and that so ! the tech and service writer don't really know why they are doing it or the cause ! just that manufacture told the to do it that way and it solves the problem !
