The cover is doing great, I still don’t have any leaks. Security?....it’s a hard cover and with the tailgate locked you can’t open it. However anything can be broken in too or stolen if you they really want too. I really like the cover, my boss liked it too and ordered one for his 2017 Silverado LTZ. No regrets so far.

I ordered one this morning based on your great review!!! Tired of replacing snaps on my current snap on cover, which is weird cuz I never once had trouble with the snaps on my S-10 with the same cover.

Well it’s almost been 3 years since I installed the Lomax bedcover. It’s been great up until now. This summer I noticed some water in the bed and upon investigation I noticed the material that covers the seams had came unglued in spots and separated from the metal allowing the leaks. It has a 3 year warranty, so today at 7am I went on their website and filled out the online claim form. I got a reply before noon saying they would send me an entire new kit and by 3pm I had a FedEx tracking number.

I was surprised at how good the customer service was.

They told me my kit was an older version and I would need to install the complete kit with new rails since there have been updates.

If anyone has any issues with theirs don’t hesitate to ask for a warranty claim. Mine was manufactured 9/20/2017.

here’s pics of the issue I had

I have seen that same failure a couple times. Happy to know they stand behind their product! Did you have to provide the original receipt?

How often do you fold yours?

I should probably have a car at this point, I have only opened mine up a handful of times in about a year now haha. I still love it though!

No receipt required but I did mention where I bought it in the description. All they wanted was the serial number and pics, no back-n-forth or anything.

I open mine quite often, I dunno if the Texas heat caused this or what. I actually had it open today since I hauled three 8ft long 4” pipe.

I've had mine for almost 2 years now. How do I know if I have the older version? Are they sending just the replacement parts to fix it or sending you a brand new cover as well?

Thanks Nick that’s good to know. I removed the old one today. Kinda weird with no cover, I’ve had that since the truck was 3 months old.

They are sending an entire new kit, the cover, rails etc. They said the rails are different with the new kit.

I got my new cover today and installed the new rails. It fit great as expected, super easy install. It has a texture finish and not smooth like my previous one. The cover itself has thicker side seals (reference old and new pencil pics). When folded this new one has a support/clamp to prevent that seal hinge from coming unglued like my previous version did.

Just to reiterate....these covers have a 3 year warranty so please keep an eye on your seal hinge material and if it comes unglued don’t hesitate to make a claim using that online form, they do not require you to ship the old one back nor did they ask for a receipt.

Couple new pics, reference pics from post #1 for old style.

Glad to see they stand behind their product and don’t give customers a hard time. I really like their covers... wish they were compatible with ram boxes.

I sent them a pic of the serial number sticker and it has date of manufacture on it.

Below is the new one, they must put this sticker on the day they ship it, if you notice the date is from last Friday which is when I sent the claim and they shipped same day 08/21/2020

Access/Agricover is a great company. They do stand behind their products and do work on improving their product to make sure things like this dont happen again. For anyone interested in a Lomax do not hesitate to buy one. They make a quality product and if it should fail their customer service is top notch as shown here!

JB1 how secure do you think it is? I have the Retrax ProMX and while it's secure, it leaks and takes up a lot of space. Thinking of dumping it and I really like the Lomax

It's on the underside of the panel near the tailgate

I found it, it was right in front of my the whole time!!! Mine was manufactured on 01/23/18 so I got a little warranty left.
