I guess from a maintenance and longevity standpoint, it does make sense to just hang on to my 1500, and get over not liking IFS.
Stick with the devil you know and all that. And once I get all the parts changed out, which I would need to do before selling it anyway, it will basically have a whole new front end, only has 84K miles, and is in otherwise perfect condition.

I would look at a new 2500 Tradesman with the 6.4l and see what the dealer will give you for your 1500 on trade. Maybe even find a hold over 2018. I traded in a 2006 1500 for my 2015 2500, they gave me 11k for my truck and I ended up financing around 23k total. That was for a brand new 2015 2500 Tradesman in March of 2015.
I used to live in rural Minnesota and I found out that I got my best deals when I went to Minneapolis.
