2019 2500 Tradesman 6.4 crew cab long box. (long frame)
I have one front shock that's leaking and a bit bouncy on that side. seems to have started knocking a bit too.
I see Bilstein 24-302074 as replacement for front and 24-302081 for the rear. Any suggestions on a retailer to supply these?
The factory shocks worked fine for dirt/gravel/off-road, but are miserable on many of the highways up here. Are these going to be any better, or recommendations for something better that still work well off-road etc? I am thinking I need less damping at about an inch up and down in travel, but more damping after that. I don't want to change suspension height, it's tall enough as-is.
Originals were ok on the highway if I pull a heavy trailer or literally a ton in the box, but I am not always loaded down with trailers or a box full of ATVs etc. I need the 3/4 ton to haul "stuff" legally that I can't do with a 1/2 ton. Just hoping for something that will not be so "bouncy" on long highway drives.
