There are MUCH better projectors out there over the factory ones. MH1 7.0 for example.
Are the MH1 the same size as the factory projectors that are in the headlights?

I just received my DDM canbus kit. I have NO clue how to do this install. I removed the headlight from the truck and now I don't know what to do. Any help? Thanks.

I figured it out. I was way over thinking it. I read one of dirtbikekid's posts a few times and came to the realization that it's not as complicated as I was making it out to be.

For some reason I thought I needed to dig deeper in the headlight to make connections when all I had to do was install the bulb, put the cover back on and make all the connections to the ballast. I mounted the ballast outside the headlight with some 3m double sided tape and zip ties.

The lights seem to work great - it took about an hour total to do the install.

Thanks for your response.

hey brother, what bulb number in the ddm drop down menu is used on the 2015's with factory projectors? I read one of your other posts ( and somewhere else online that sometimes a tab on the HID bulbs need to be shaved down to fit into the projectors properly....was this the case with your kit from ddm? )

And after having them for a week or so, how are they working in your projectors? I'm thinking about grabbing these for my 2015 sport with factory projectors

I used the 9006 bulb. I figured out that you can wiggle the bulb and get it down into the tabs to fit without cutting it. If it doesn't fit you need to take barley a 1/16th off on of the tabs to fit.

Update- Still Good! no flickering or shutting off. I have some pics of light output here- http://www.ramforum.com/f41/2015_laramie_42_light_bar-79969/index2.html

I just got my kit today. 9005 for the Highs. If everything will fit behind the dust cap, ballast, canceller. Is it OK to stuff it all in there? Any problems from doing this. I know JJ used to do this before his ballasts got bigger.

I was not able to fit all of it in there. The ballast was too huge.

So no one is able to fit just the low-beam kit inside of the headlight assembly?
