I am new here and in the process of gathering intel on the most cost effective way to get my baby as low as possible without cutting stuff..I am hearing 2/4 lowering springs and shackles ? ...

Welcome to the site T-Spoon! The 2/4 seems to be a popular way to go. Being that I'm in the other direction, I am sure one of the slammed society will chime in soon!

Welcome to RF! I Have the 2" spindles with 4.5" flip kit in the rear. The spindles cost more than coil springs, so I'd go with the 2/4.5 kit with coils and flip kit. 4.5" is the lowest you can go in the rear (5" drop in the rear is cuttin it close) before you have to c-notch. :D

Can you do a 2/4 drop on the 4th gens and run 24s?

you can, youll just have to adjust tire size and possibly the offset etc to make the rim fit without rubbing
