I’d like to lower the rear level with the front. Is that a big job?

not at all! you can do it pretty easily with the stock coils. or you can order some drop coils for the rear, they make a 2" drop coil.

i've had two fourth gen rams, and this current one is the first that i've run a drop kit on. I've cut the rear coils on both trucks pretty much immediately when i got them. i had 840 miles on the truck when i pulled the rear coils to trim about 2 coils off. it's safe to do, i've never had an issue. if you want to be safe/keep your stock 100%, then order some 2" drop coils. you should be able to swap them out in around 45 min either way, its a very easy job.

Random question, anyone running 22 x 12 wheels lowered 2/4 drop.

I would do 22 , but on the track(highway lol) you need as much tire contact to the Pavement
Plus the bigger the wheel the more tire travels and truck doesn’t go as fast

I'm more concern with clearances if I 22x 12 no spacers then tire size and clearance. Currently running 22 x8.5 wheels with spacers. Tires are 260 40 22. Just wondered if anyone here was that wide 22x 12. If it's too wide then 22 x 10 keeping spacers on and go that route with 285x 45x 22 tires.
