I've looked at a few of the springs or kits to lower my truck 2". Some just have the springs and some come with the springs, shocks a rubber piece. Is it worth it to get the shocks for the 2" drop? And does anybody know what the difference in the Ground force 91213 and 91214 is?
Thanks,

I don't know about those kits, but I went with the McGaughy's 2" drop springs (part #44055 for 4wd crew cab) and was really happy with them. Kept the factory shocks and bump stops. It rode like stock and I was still able to tow and haul.

I've been reading some post about lowering. Didn't think I needed shocks. Got to get the truck even. Wondered about the bump stops too. Thanks

This is just a 2'' drop with springs. No new shocks or bumps. When Really loading down a trailer it bottoms out, ive got some helper bags to install inside the springs, but havent done it yet.

My next set of tires will have bigger sidewalls like these. It irks me how small mine are, but i didnt pay enough attention when i ordered them.

Both of those look good. Ordering the McGaughys tonight. If I get the R/T 22" wheels I'll probably get the 305's put on.

On the factory 20's, what size tires are those? 265/75/20?

@KyleH12 the part #44055 states on the McGaughy's site that it is for Regular Cab and Quad Cab. You rocking them just fine on your Crew Cab? No issues? Appreciate any insight on it. Thanks!

Thats weird, its showing me quad cab only just now. I double checked my order and thats definitely the part number I bought. I didn't have any issues at all with them. I had them on for about 6 months before switching to a 2/4 drop.

Called them to verify and they said it was the same one and they consider the quad the same as crew [emoji52].

On my crew cab, I got exactly 2" of drop with those. With 400lbs in the bed, I sagged about 1/3 of an inch. Did fine towing up to 4k lbs, but never tried any more than that.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I’m going to place my order on Monday. I don’t have lots to haul, just mowers for my boys’ mowing service and then a golf cart every other weekend.
