Today I noticed my active grill shutters making a creaking noise when shutting down the truck.
Needs lube ?

Good point. I'll have to remove the grill to take a closer look.Maybe tou got some crud stuck there.
Mud, rocks, bird guts.

I live in a hot climate. So I'm sure it'll be ok.You could try some grease on the mechanism, I would just remove them though. I removed the entire assembly from my truck and don't miss it.

They are plastic so maybe just gunk stuck?
While ur messing with them pull all but top and bottom rows out like I did.
If all get pulled it will throw a cel without a gizmo to lock little motor
Better airflow, no cel due to assembly still there, win win
How many in each top bottom and bottom rows. ? Two at the top two at.the bottom?
