I've had this leak for a long time now and could never figure it out but once I lifted my truck I poked my head up at the top of the gas tank and I seen this now it looks like too me its coming from that hose. Is there an O ring in this or can I just replace the hose? 7b85df1d21011944993d00edd35c63df.jpg

I cant quite see the type of line, but it looks like a standard disconnect. if thats the case, pulling it apart and simply cleaning it off with a rag or toothbrush and some wd40 or gasoline.

You can usually replace that end as well if thats the route you want to take.

May need a whole new line there, It's been a while since I lowered my 1500, but be careful when you disconnect it it could break / be brittle.

I don't know what type of plastic they used on the dodges, but i've changed enough fuel filters and pumps on chevys to know, you treat that thing like ****** glass if its more than 10 years old. Or get a plastic line disconnect set and use those.

If you do break it, I don't know what their called, but you can get replacement fittings for most size lines. I've broken more than I can count on Chevys, just cut the line back enough to get rid of the plastic nipple and put the new fitting on.

When it comes to gas there is no such thing as a 'mild leak'.

Good thing Dodge put it where it's at! Did you observe it when there pressure on the system to definitively identify the leak. Could be the fitting itself and not the hose.
