Got them installed today at Americas Tires, 5 tires with certificates lifetime rotation and balancing for $1493 OTD
I'll miss the 37x12.5x17 BFG KO2's i had before but wanted to downgrade size and enjoy my old MPG.
KO2s were 36.5x12.5x17 advertised, the Patagonia MT in 315/70/17are advertised as 34.7x12.7x17 so they're the metric equivalent to 35x12.5x17

Initial impressions, they're super quiet for an MT tire and they drive super smooth. They weight 68lbs each + 31lbs on the wheels i have a total of 99lbs per corner. Didn't save much in the weight department KO2's in 37x12.5x17 are 69lbs each, but overall they're still light for MT tires in this size plus this combo is a much better match for my 3.92's with the 6 speed trans. Chit i can feel the 395hp again :)

I'll have a better idea how they behave with more miles, right now at 60-70mph they drive as good as my KO2's did, again super smooth and super quiet for MT tires but today is just the 1st day.

All 5 KO2's in the bed, plus new 5th wheel/tire + 150lbs offroad gear, tire swing carrier, metal bumper and she doesn't sag at all. Did i say i'm running Jeep JT springs in the RAM ? hahaha

I'll have more insight as i rack miles into them. I won't sugar coat anything if they don't behave as expected. I know members of my Jeep community group are running these tires and love them for how cheap they're vs how much abuse they can hold in the rocks. I like cheap and bueno so i went for them. My theme is offroad so i'm expecting another set of nice rugged tires that can whistand everything i can throw at them. Miles department i'm expecting 30-35k miles so will see.

Like my other reviews ill know more about their wear rate in around 5k miles or so, if their turn up into loud suckers , if they suck in rain or snow etc etc the more miles I put to them.

I picked these up in a 275/75/20 for the wifes jeep. Done have the wheels yet but local shop had them. 504 and some change for 4 tire including mount and balance when I get the wheels. Obviously for that price couldn't pass them up. Glad to hear they are quite for a mt

I did 75mph on my way to the gym this afternoon and I can't believe how quiet they are. Zero noise. They're pumped up 40psi right now and I think I'll leave them in there based on the YouTube reviews from Lite Brite channel.

Edited: I took the canyon road back to my house and i could hear them this time so they're not exactly zero noise. The fwy is just too noisy i couldn't hear them over that but still, they're so mellow in the noise department you can barely hear them for now. i'd think with miles they'll sing some after all they're just a tiny bit more aggressive looking than the KO2's they replaced. :)

Wanted to update as their quietness dissipated after a few hundred miles or so. I can hear them clearly now at the expected 40-50mph, normal MT hum. They're not normal MT loud though so still pretty quiet for what they should be but in no way shape or form they're as quiet as the BFG's they replaced. That lasted less that a week. lol. They ride super smooth at 40psi but i have tuned Kings that i'm sure will soak up any imperfections that may exist. Stones doesn't get glued up to them while riding dirt trails like they did in my BFG's so that's bonus hahaha.

By the massive tread gaps/lugs, those should turn into swamper hum as you wear through the softwe outer compound. They are definitely one of the most aggressive M/Ts I’ve seen.

1000 miles update.
Noise have remained the same after 300-400 miles. They're not quiet by any means but still quiet for an MT with this kind of tire pattern. zero issues so far how the tires track, i'm running them at 38-39psi.

Offroad performance: They're a beast of a tire. Very happy about them. great traction in dirt, sand and rocks.
at 22 PSI here

at 39psi here (I didn't know the trail had rocks and i didn't have my compressor with me at the time so i didn't air down, the sidewalls handled the rocks with ease, they're stout as hell)

Couple of clips showing how they perform.
This is the easy section of the trail i did yesterday at 39PSI. don't have clips with the rougher section cause i needed to keep the focus on the obstacles and i was teaching my brother in law how to spot me :)

This is with them at 22 psi, next time i'll go down to 18PSI

First rotation done at 3k miles, 5 points rotation. Americas tires will balance them every time they rotate.
Rears were down to 16/32, front 17/32. literally 1/32 every 1000 miles.
From what I’ve read wear seems to level at 5k miles. Noise have remained the same. Have done 90mph and they ride smooth. They seem to take more weight to get balanced though but no issues with them so far.
Love the look and offroad traction is just amazing so far over dirt and rocks.

No rain experience so far but Fall season is close so would see how they behave when wet.

5k miles update (current truck miles: 94400), all 4 are tires are 15/32 so at least it seems the 1/32 every 1000 miles has stopped. Still 4/32 by 5000 miles is a damn fast wear but it's the only complaint i have so far with these tires.
2nd rotation will be at 95200 miles, which will be another 3k miles from the last one. Noise has remained the same. MT loud :), rain traction aint that bad, at least they don't suck like BFG KM2's or Kumho KL71's so they do surprinsingly well considering the MT lugs. Zero issues with balancing so far. Can do 90mph wth one hand, i have no wandering of any sorts and the truck drives smooth.

Hopefully the wear slows drastically as the patch surface area becomes larger and more firm. Unless the rubber compound is soft, I've only heard good things about them and they are a top contender for my next tire with 285/75/17s.

3rd rotation coming next at Aprox 98500
I got this tires installed at 89,056 miles, current miles 97,500, so 8444 miles driven so far
Brand new tread: 19/32
Current tread at 97,500: 13/32 even front and rear so that would be roughly 1/32 every 1400-1500 miles.

Estimating if everything remains the same and i do think this is a best it gets considering the initial wear down rate was 1/32 every 1000 miles, The future with the Pats should more or less remain like this and it looks like a 25k miles tire in this case.

Miles - wear
97500 13/32
99000 12/32
100500 11/32
102000 10/32
103500 9/32
105000 8/32
106500 7/32
108000 6/32
109500 5/32
111000 4/32
112500 3/32

In contrast my Falken AT3W 315/70/17 E were wearing down 1/32 every 5k miles, same with the BFG KO2 in 37x12.5x17 D.

I love the looks on the tires but i won't be buying again and if going with MT i'll stay with Toyo MT, Cooper STT Pro or Nitto MT in that order. I've gotten 50k miles out of my Toyo MT's before (Jeeps), 55-65K with BFG KO2's (Jeeps/Toyotas)

I got these tires for $226 each x 5 = $1130 (i have certs, install cost etc, so this is tire price alone) So to go 50k miles i would have to double that for $2260, or $452 per tire. I knew the tire was going to suck in the miles department being they seem to last 30k miles in Jeep Wranglers. Doesn't seem as cost effective as i thought initially :) Live to learn...

Switching out these tires today so I won't update anymore. Getting new BFG KO2 315/70/17 C rated installed.
