In their defense the platoon sgt gave me the chance to sweep it under the rug. But since they didn’t want to away out my mrap that had a bad solenoid and caused my crew and I to not have ac or working comms when outside the wire on mission I said **** it, I’m done. As of now I’m 100% total and permentant disabled rated with the va. Housebound rating for PTSD. Wasn’t expecting that but hey, I’ll take retired at 37

Agreed, Polk sucked balls. It was worse then Korea. I did the brac move down there from Lewis in the early 90s. I had 10 JRTC rotations in 12 months and one of those was at Chaffee. Bluefor, bluefor roundout, opfor, opfor roundout, tac grade/eval NCO. I was so happy to get orders to Korea and the DMZ at that. Camp Greaves was just awesome.
