Yes they will work and if you have alpha you can turn them on yourself. If not dealer can flash it I paid like 25 bucks to activate mine

Pay attention to year someone else can chime in on exact year I think its 13+ the outside temp thermometer is in the mirror and if your truck is a 13+ and you get let's say a 11 or 12 it will throw a CEL.

13 to 18 will work fine. The drivers side mirror has the temperature probe. The dealer can activate the LEB and LEC codes for the blinker lights and puddle lights or you can do it it with the Alfa. Most dealers charge between 1/2 hr to 1 hr labor to activate the codes but in reality it takes them a out 10 minutes to actually turn them on.

Sorry im just now jumping on this thread but im about to purchase a set of 2012 mirrors that have the lower turn signal and puddle lights. Will they work with my 2013 or will i need a newer year’s set of mirrors??

You will want the 2013 & newer mirrors
Most everything changed in the 2013 Ram, the Interior had the most changes
Chrysler was bought out by Fiat in 2012 or just before then
Our trucks were still called Dodge Rams until June of 2012
In July 2012, our trucks started being called Rams.
The corporate name became FCA, ( Fiat Chrysler Automotive )
On the exterior of the 2013 Rams, there as some notable changes
the Grille changed shape, the lower corners of the grille were slightly rounded off & the Ram emblems were made larger.
The exterior mirrors changed somewhat, most notably was the position change of the temperature sensor.
Pre 2013 the exterior temp sensor was behind the grille.
2013 & newer, it was placed in the left door mirror, ( where it unfortunately has been less accurate ever since )
