i recently hit something while driving and smashed my door side mirror. the one i have is just the basic side mirror, no type of electronic features besides just being able to adjust the mirror angle. Looking to buy both sides as a pair and the OEM and even aftermarket prices are kind of absurd. i found one on facebook from a 2009 model (apparently) that has the turn signals on the side mirrors too. does anyone know if i could convert to those? and what the process is to do so? they’re dirt cheap so i’d probably end up getting hem regardless if the signal light functions or not.

Your profile says 2012 - but 2013 and up mirrors have the outside temp sensor in them, you may get a check eng light without it. Boost auto makes an add-on sensor, but if I recall, it's about $70 - $75, so not cheap. may be more cost effective to get the correct mirrors.

For the turn signals\puddle lights - you'll probably need to enable them in the computer. details on how to do that should be in the AlfaOBD thread in the 4th gen section

yeah i own a 2012 (which is on my profile) and also a 2013. would i just be able to take the sensor off of my old ones and install them onto the 2009 model mirrors? i dont mind having to program them.
