I am interested to find out, if anyone has any information on "modifying" the front of the hood, where the upper part of the factory grille bolts on. Without fabricating a "cap" or grafting a piece from another hood, to decrease the size of the grille opening. Does any manufacturer offer something like this, or is it a fab only modification? For appearance purposes, I am trying to finish off the front edge of the hood and use a smaller grille (like from a 2nd Gen), make some supports and secure the grille to the radiator support not the hood. Practicality aside...any thoughts?
