I wanted to paint the calipers tonight as well, but the forecast for tomorrow morning calls for rain, and the truck does not fit in the garage right now. I may tackle the diff cover tomorrow though if the wife gives me a few minutes of free time...haha.

nice pan to bad no one will see it lol

I made some more progress today...

Installed the Magnaflow catback, loaded a new 93 octane tune from Hemifever, and installed my new Vararam TB spacer. I also mounted the Nitto 305/55/20 tires, but they hit the upper control arm with the wheel turned. I ended up having to throw some 1/4" spacers behind there to make them clear, so now I am not sure how things are going to look once I drop the back...I may end up having to lift the front now instead. I also debadged, clay barred, and waxed the truck this evening. I just finished the detailing a few minutes ago, so I will have to wait until tomorrow for pics.

Here is a little teaser pic showing the new tires, Magnaflow 5" tips, and debadged tailgate...

Oh fyi with the e fan set up becareful where the hose mounts to the fan it will eventually wear a hole in the hose best bet is to dremel the little edge off the fan so the hose does not hit it just some useful info

Matt, does the black finish hold up on the brake rotors?

Walt, with the correct tool to remove the clutch fan, it literally pops off in about 10 seconds. And the Mag Hytec pans are for function, not looks. They hold more fluid and have cooling fins that also help in keeling temps down. Its just an added bonus that they do look nice as well.

I added the spacer the same day that I installed the intake, throttle body, and catch can, so I don't have any specific before/after info on that one. The concept behind the spacer works, so I am going to stick with it.

And all is good on the efan. I am running the Mopar fan which has a little different shroud than the TYC fan. I have almost 1/2" between the shroud and the hose, so nothing is touching there.

Yes sir. This is the Mag Hytec, which is the best quality pan I have seen. We also carry PML, but for the price, the Mag Hytec is the way to go.

The black finish holds up everywhere except where the pad makes contact with the rotor. It will become silver there after putting a few miles on it. I am planning to wash the truck today, so I will take a few pics with the wheels on to show you how they look after about 30 miles.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much room to work on these covers. I did just realized that our price was a bit off at $255. I just reduced it back to $247 with free shipping which is where it should have been.

Not only do the Mag Hytec pans and covers hold more fluid and have cooling fins for added cooling, they also come with a very handy drain plug which makes them much easier to maintain. They also come with new gaskets and bolts which help make for a simple install.

Here is what the rotors look like today after a few miles...you can see the silver finish where the pads have worn the black off the face of the rotor...
