I really like the idea of keeping accessories Mopar.
Q- have you chaulked the foam rim of the CAI box to see how the seal to the hood is?
Is the exhaust system made of mild or aluminized steel?

FYI for those that don't know....AEM produces the intake for MOPAR. So a AEM Brute Force is identical, other than color and being a lot cheaper. Brute Force is what I run and it's a solid intake.

I've just installed the same Air Intake just wondering if you know or already have the hood scoops functional for the cold air.. if so where do I find it?

The scoops on the sport hood are not functional

Don't take this wrong
But things are only over priced if you don't have the money.

Odd way of looking at it. I can't afford a ZR1 Corvette, but that doesn't mean its overpriced. I can buy a Benchmade knife without a dent in my budget, but they are waaay overpriced.

What does it sound like? And does it sound weird when it goes into the MDS mode?

Exhaust is stainless, has a nice mild rumbble and really opens up when you punch it. You can definitely hear the engine switch from short to long runner. Not much of a change in sound when in ECO mode either which was my biggest concern.

That's what danimal77 is trying to say though, the mopar cai is made by AEM. $275 on amazon. part # AEM-21-8222DC. For those who want the Mopar part but can deal with not having the mopar decal.

LIke I said employee cost on the mopar cai was $317 so for the extra money it was worth it for me to go with it over the others. The mopar filter appears to be larger than the AEM filter.

I don't see how they can say anything with them being Genuine Mopar Accessories, thats one of the reasons I wanted to stick with the Mopar parts just in case I have a dealer say something down the road I can say well it's all Mopar not aftermarket!!!

CAI & exhaust alone wont void any part of your warranty. Mopar or aftermarket. If you start getting into switching, deleting cats and headers, they could start and question you a bit.

The AEM should filter better than K&N because they are dry filter and the K&N is cotton gauze. I have been looking at this and the K&N does not filter as well.

My thoughts as well. I had a bad experience with SVT with an F150 why I was asking.
