Mopar side steps 1500 to 2500

I just want to confirm, I am probably moving from a 2014 2500 to a 2014 1500
both would be crew cabs. Can I take my side steps off the 2500 and just install them on the 1500? I believe so, I just need to order the riv nut kit.
Am I missing something else?

Nope, cabs are punched the same right there. Will be OK!

No problem. I moved my OEM steps from my 2015 1500 CC to my 2017 2500 CC. They will fit , but some adjustment may be necessary. I had to loosen the mounting brackets on the bottom of the step so that they would line up with the holes in the cab.

Anyone know the part number to the rivnut kit? Searched all over the Mopar sight and couldn't find it.
