Mopar sliding toolbox

Has anyone used this, or have it ?

It looks like it will fit under a tonneau cover, and would give me a place to store some stuff.

Trying to find out if it is worth it, and which bed rails I need to use it.

i have one on my 10 lone star. I like it. Good place to store stuff. Dont know about bed rails though. I have a snug top bed cover on mine an it works perfect.

I bought the Bak Flip 2, rests on the tonneau rails. except when traded in '09 Ram 1500 for '13 Ram 2500. The bed widths on the 2500 were much wider, had to improvise with some pine boards. I'll take a pic tomorrow if not raining.

Well, the only time I would use it would be when I am towing my boat or camper...the rest of the time it would be forward and not in use.

When I am towing, I would have at the tailgate with my tools/supplies at the ready.



Only other possible category would be exterior, and that seemed more rims/tires/ stepbars/etc.......

I guess what I need is the dimension from the center of the bed rail it mounts to to the top of the bed side, and from the center of the rail to the top of the toolbox so I can see if it will clear my tonneau cover.
