Have not done under the bed, but I did get a Vararam intake and a second battery/tray from a Cummins to put under the hood in the stock filter box location. Not sure if that would work for you or not.

Plus that kit you linked to is for ATV/SXS. Does not look big enough for a truck.

There are pictures in my profile of my dual battery setup. All accessories I have added to the truck run off the second battery, I also moved my winch over to it.

Do you happen to have a part # for the cummins tray you used?

It's a great idea, just not sure I want to add even more weight infront of the front tires.
I'd much rather a pair of group 31s where the factory spare tire is.

I thought about this too, just not sure if I want to be without the spare. I ordered a bolt on battery tray that I think I can mount to the frame in the rear corner. I should hopefully have it this weekend and I'll post up some photos and a writeup if it works.

I don't remember. I just got a hold of the parts guy at the dealership and the next day it was there.

And 75lbs on top of the front wheel is not going to make a difference. At 350lb/in spring rate, it will not create any noticeable sag. You won't notice that much weight in performance. I just added an extra 100lbs of 3/16" to the front bumper, so the battery is moot.

Different trucks for sure. Weight balance on a pickup is a joke, I understand.
I'm just saying if I am going to add a lead weight (literally and figuratively) I'd rather put it somewhere that'd help with traction and handling.

http://www.nationsstarteralternator.com/Nations-Extreme-High-Amp-Output-Alternators-s/58.htmHas anyone used a painless dual battery set up with the cummins tray and spare battery? I had this kit in my last truck and it was solid. Easy to install and always fun to use.

Also,

I recommend Nations Starter and Alternator for a "beefed" up alternator to handle both batteries. You can get them powdercoated or painted etc...
