2016 Ram 1500, ECO DIESEL with 75,000 miles. Recently had the AEM update and my MPG went from 23 mpg in city to 17 mpg. I feel like there is more to it and the update is not the only culprit here.

Turbo lag very noticeable.
Mileage decrease noticeable.

When towing an empty 12 foot trailer seems like I'm towing a "semi-truck"

Any suggestions ?

Intercooler/Turbo pipes have that crappy snap clamp on them and it seems a little loose for a turbo.

The decreased fuel mileage is most likely a symptom of that lag, lost a few ponies without that boost. If you suspect a compression leak to the turbo, definitely investigate. Lag is caused by a drop in the amount of exhaust gases that is reaching that spinny boy.

Im unsure what that update is but if it had anything to do with the throttle power chain or the tune than its a good candidate for the cause

It's the new tune they gave it. A Sofaking tune will fix it. GDE also has an EPA compliant tune now, but probably less power.
