Ahh ok so thats what they did..mines the same way and by eye balling it, moving the tips up without hitting those brackets it will still be over an inch off the bumper. So maybe I could do some narrower black tips or they can figure something out to keep my stock ones.

Don't do smaller tips
Just get em to figure it out.

Well with FEDX being retarded I finally got my exhaust today after the 2nd attempt to greet me at my door

Im going to the muffler shop first thing tomorrow morning! Already spoke with the guy on the phone about what needs to be done. They open at 7:30am, hard to believe, but guess whos going to be their first customer..?? This guy! Ill be sure to post up some pics and let you know how/what was done! Thanks again to Moe's performance, I think his names Matt, for all the help! He will get you squared away with your needs!!

Yess!! Im in the muffler shop now..im going to just keep the chrome ones for now. Having the tips sit about .5" off the bumper. They are going to cut and reweld that bracket for the tow package to move it out of the way. And install my magnaflow

That is exactly what had to be done to mine and 1/2" will look sweet.
Actually have them tack it so you can see if you like it there or a tad closer before they weld it.
Either way, you will like the outcome

Got my exhaust done today! Had my tips adjusted from the body lift, they were hanging over 4" away from the bumper. Now they are tucked in there nice at about 5/8" away! Had them paint from the tips to the muffler (black) to kind of blend it all in and hide all the bare metal! There was some fab work to be done. Cutting and welding the brackets on the tow package to make the tips fit, making an upbend to raise the tips and the muffler was a little short so had to weld in an extension. Also installed an 18" Magnaflow and it sounds great! Nice deep tone, definitely louder than stock but not over the top loud! I love how it looks/sounds now!
