Well the ypipe on the 4th gens are so crushed and restrictive so the strait through design on the magnaflow y is way better flowing! How's the one on your 3rd gen?

idk i didnt think it waas terrible but i do know its deff not the best, might change it out after this summer with new long tubes and a new cat and do a full 3 or 3.5 inch exhaust, then maybe a nice cam

And I wouldn't go that big even for my bigger 5.7 3" is to big 2.5 would be perfect for my engine. Start over compensating you'll lose mpg. I learned the hard way in a previous build.

Alright well I've got the 5.7 as well. It doesnt do anything to throw the computer off does it? Just a simple exhaust mod?

That won't hurt the comp. I have muffler and y pipe, the comp will compensate for the extra flow.

Once I get a cai I should be cranking out some good mpg
