I have a 24x27 detached & the truck fits great. The only problem is it's about 100yrds. from the house.

Thanks 4xdad, nice ride there also. And my driveway is far from level, at least a 6 inch difference in where the tires sit.

I actually had to find a house with a garage big enough to fit my truck. When I moved into the townhouse after I got married there was just enough room for my truck with the bumper against the garage and my front bumper just at the edge of the road. So we looked for a house for over a year she went inside to look at things while the first thing I did was get my tape measure out and measure the garage. If it was not long enough we didn't even consider the house. Now we just butt heads on whether the kid's toys or my truck get to stay in there. :)

Yes I love to garage my truck as well! Even with 9" lift and 37"s it still fits in the garage. If you take care of them, then they will take care of you!!

Cheers

When we got the new house, the garage was for me and the house for her haha. We had 2 Jeeps, Mustang, Harley trike and 2up quad. Wanted a 3 car but the additional $13k took the house payments over my mil. retirement. So a double it was. 24x28 with lots of room for shelves and the s Jeep, her Mustang, the Harley trike and a 2up quad.
(under construction)

Then the truck
Had to take out the one section of shelves where the truck would go
20190228_203715.jpg
and took it all down to put up OSB and put some of the shelves on the side where the trike(gone) and quad used to be. Then add junk, a tool box, more junk, a work bench, more junk, a compressor, then more junk, fridge & freezer, then more junk, a 9000w gen and yeah more junk. Oh yeah can't forget the "loft" for more junk. Then the price of OSB went from $11 to $57 for a sheet here. It will be waiting a few years if ever.

For those of you who can park in a garage, I HATE YOU !!!!!. 20 x20 2 car exactly garage 7 foot high door. Bullwinkle is about 8 inches to tall with the cap and 2 inches to tall without and more than likely to long. But I ain't getting rid of him.

Mine barely fits. It still sits outside, the wifes car and my Charger are in the garage.

Getting excited myself, I'm going from no garage to a 2 car attached and a 2(ish) car detached on our house we are preparing to buy... there'll be so much room for activities!

That's really nice. I'm jealous. Congrats on the garages, and nice house too.

Thanks for the post. My garage is a mess and now you have inspired me to clean it out.

I was fortunate to buy a new home 3 yrs ago. Oversized 3 car garage w/service door. Enough room for my Ram, wife’s hylander, my Vette, rider mower and still enough room for my Man Cave...heated. 65” tv, stereo. Theater seating and a lot of sports memorabilia on the walls. Awesome! Finish you’re garages. Big mistake not to. It’s like adding on another 1000 sq feet of living area...only with fresh air and neighbors visiting!

It doesn’t get any better brother! My two car garage is clean enough for two cars, my wife’s and daughter’s. Lol

But wait! There's more, just had inspections and realized the detached 2 car has its own furnace and AC! I saw the AC in the wall but missed the furnace in the "attic" and thermostat on the wall... I'm gonna be changing oil in luxury!
