Can the AlfaOBD be used to eliminate the all so frustrating lock on input while vehicle is in motion?

Pretty sure this has been discussed, and I believe the answer was no, as the radio and the computer that Alfa talks to are "isolated". Alfa can't do much if anything on the radio, other than adding features the radio can "detect".

What is the consensus here to the best method of removing the motion lock?

Only 2 options that I know of. Lockpick from Coastal Electronics, which last time I looked, they were out of stock and like $500. Or Customtronix out of Sweden. I've used this (and still am using their products). Similar to the Lockpick, but a bit cheaper. My 2014 2500 and my wife's Durango both had the older version firmware when I got into this, so I used their software to unlock the motion lock. My 2016 1500 was new enough, that I had to go with their plug in product to get around FCA's restriction.
