Have you considered shopping out of state? Full sized trucks are more desirable in some states over others, and can potentially be worth more in a trade in verses the local dealerships you are dealing with. Case in point... my friend just traded his mint condition 2018 low miles Ford F350 dually on a new 2023 Jeep Rubicon Gladiator and got $12K MORE than what he paid for the truck new. He had to drive two states away to do it, BUT if you find the right situation, you make the deal over email or phone, get something signed, and make the trip. Just an idea.
