Hi, I like most people have had my Nav stop working/not accurate on my 2018 Ram 1500 after the Nov 3 2019 roll over. My gps shows me like 3 states away and I would like to finally have this fixed. Truck has the factory 8.4 uconnect with nav. Software version is 17.43.44 and the truck is originally a Canadian truck. App version 19.9.0

Hoping someone has the update file so i can do it manually because according to uconnect im "up to date"....

Thanks

Having same issue with NAV. I swapped 2018 radio into my 2013. Right away NAV was frozen and not updating my current position. Were you successful performing soft reset? How do you do it? What about hard reset?
Original firmware says it has 18.13 version on it. Would like to upgrade to the latest and see if it fixes anything.

I know it’s not a real fix but don’t all the 2018 and up 8.4 radios have android auto and CarPlay for navigational use? Being a little OCD myself I’d want a permanent fix but AA and CP offer a compromise until a permanent fix becomes available.

Software updates will most likely not fix the GPS problem you are having. There is a cellular daughterboard in your radio that is probably fried. This is just my experience.

Thanks for the link but that seems to be only for the 13-17 headunits.

Is this inside the headunit or somewhere else in the truck?

And here is another for the 2019+ radios.

Vin check says i'm up to date which is not possible.. it's never had an update since new
Did you have the chance to read this thread

They use the USB flash drive method but do not dump everything at once just one file at a time.
