Hey guys, hoped my tires would last until spring and today is a nice spring day and one tire is flat, other a bit soft.

Previous owner put 20" rims on, sprayed black, and the stock Wrangler SR-A tires. 2 tires losing air and one hard to balance, worried might be more than the tires, possibly a wonky rim as well. Painted over chrome with tremclad I think so, flaking off and looks bad.

Debated new tires, balanced/installed, hope the rim is fine and repaint them.

    Or...

Few ads with used 2019 Ram Classic black 20" rims, with 3, 000km use on the same Wrangler tires. Rated for 80,000km I think.

Rims with rubber means already balanced, so I can install myself and sell the old rims... Nicer rims, new tires, saves about $200.

Bolt pattern the same, bore is off by 0.3mm so probably ok... I know the threads are now metric but really affects the nuts not rims... But can't find the offset or bolt hole size.

Kinda need ASAP.... Anyone know for sure if the 2019 Classic rims will fit my 2003?

Yup! Just gotta make sure the lug nuts are the right style.
I'm running '16 Limited wheels on my '03.

Well, I already bought mine before I got a response on this thread, and soon after threw my back out... finally able to bend/move and a sunny day so just slapped the first one one.

Looks good... but may need to eBay new lugs. Originals are pretty beat up and rusting, guess someone used the wrong size socket or something.

I'll have to take a pic when done... looks good. In a few weeks I have to spring for new brakes... may photo after that... just because will look nicer. :D

I got black ones off a 2018 Ram 1500 Classic. 10,000km on them with those mediocre Wrangler SR-A stock tires. Still... paid less than a set of new tires installed, plus my old rims looked bad. Previous guy spray painted with Tremclad I think and half flaked off. Will just sell them cheap and make my upgrade even cheaper overall. Debating keep for winter... but I usually just get all-season and leave it at that.

This, the factory ones get stuck in my tools, and they’re such soft aluminum that one tap out and they never screw back on right

Well... since thread started may as well continue... tires/rims are on, they have about 10,000km (6,250 miles) on them. Already balanced and such so, simply stuck them on.

Loud...compared to the old they're quite loud, and at 90kph/55mph the noise/sound is a sorta wave.... very constant and consistent when on cruise control, noise volumes goes up then down, up/down... again very smoothly and consistently.

That normal? is that why so many people upgrade the stock Wrangler SR-A's?
