New Bed Mat

Looking for recommendations for a bed mat for a Ram 1500. Huskey has one for $125.00 that looks good. I want the grippy soft rubber with custom fit for exact model. I don't need a kit for the tailgate just the bed mat.

I have the Mopar bed mat and highly recommend it. I purchased it new in 2007 for my new truck and then put it in my 2020 truck. It has protected my bed(s) from everything including rocks and firewood and it's still in excellent condition and will go into my next new truck in several years.

I went to Tractor Supply, and purchase a stall mat. Fit good side to side had to trim off about 6" in length (5'7 bed) cuts easy with a box knife, but use a new blade. IIRC it was about $60 or so.

Yeah, times 1,000. There is nothing like stall mats and they are nearly a perfect fit to wheel well, my hardware store sell them under 65 bucks, thick sticky rubber, like 2 plus inches thick. That or bed rug, but what you are asking for try a stall mat.

I picked up a weathertech from rock auto awhile back . It is as you describe , soft bottom curves up about 3inches on three sides .

Bed Rug! I have one in my 2019 1500 Laramie Longhorn and it covers my spray in liner from Mopar. Love it and easy to clean and doesn’t move loaded or unloaded.

Since 2004, we have outfitted our trucks with a stable mat from a farm store.
It is an inch thick and will fit an 8 foot box. Smaller boxes or just the wheel wells can be cut out with a really good electric knife or a Milwaukee hackzall or whatever you have on hand.
Easy on the knees and no movement.
If you have to trim the matting, you end up with extra matting for other projects.
My husband had knee surgery on one knee but failed to have the other done. The remnants have been great for his shortsightedness and my ears.

I put a Bed Rug in my 2017 1500 when it was new, fast forward to 2020 when I upgraded to a 2500 6.7 with Ramboxes. I took the Bed Rug from the 1500 and cut it down on the sides for the Rambox bed, still going strong. A bit short but that's under the power tonneau can so no big deal, have toolboxes there anyway.
