Just replaced both of my fog light assemblies with TYC branded assemblies. Installation was quick and easy. Everything lined up the way it should HOWEVER- there is a gap between the top of the assembly and the hole in the bumper. I don’t believe the busted old ones has a pinkie gap between but I could be wrong. Since it’s so late currently, I haven’t tried to adjust them down quite yet but just wanted to see if I’d skipped a step of sliding the top into a groove or something that would keep it more uniform to the hole for the fog light in the bumper.

Thank you for any input!

Mine was the same, and they seemed loose. Is yours hooked into the existing Ram Mounting system? That was my issue so i replaced them with a type that does not use the RAM mounting system.

Mine aren’t loose at all. That was one thing I checked when they were mounted. I pushed and applied pressure on the outer lenses and they didn’t shimmy at all. The hole and guides all lined up on the back where it screws into the brackets. I looked at the assembly side by side with OEM and didn’t see any difference.

Determined that TYC has no business making fog light assemblies for these trucks. Sending them back to RockAuto

Ordered them from RockAuto and were branded on box and product accordingly.
