Hi all. Just picked up my truck last week. Its an 08 regular cab long bed 5.7 2500. 1 owner truck with 152,000 and full service records! First pickup I have ever owned and its exactly the one I've always wanted. (other than a mint 92 Jeep Comanche 4.0/aw4/231 shortbed which I am still searching for) The truck is a stripper base model only option is automatic trans. It had SXT stickers on the bedsides but I don't know exactly what comes with that package. I'm no stranger to trucks. I have worked at 4 Wheel Parts and I'm around trucks a lot now that I work in construction. I've had mostly Jeeps and VW's in the past. Currently I also have a VW Golf R that put down 378 horse 390 torks at all 4 wheels on 91 octane at 5000 feet elevation. This truck will be my work truck/daily driver/tow rig for the VW.
It came stock other than a spacer leveling kit up front and some crap white body aftermarket shocks. The moment I got it home I removed all the badges and stickers except the logo on the tailgate and the RAM/heavy duty/2500 on the doors. I also removed the chrome hubcaps, painted the steelies black, tinted the windows and just got 35s put on this morning. Since I cant leave well enough alone I will be starting a build thread for the truck here in the near future. Until then here are some pics.
