Been lurking and reading a lot on the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. Long time Mopar guy. Fell in love with Mopars when I was 13-14 when my brother bought a '69 Dodge Super Bee in the mid 80's. It was love at first sight lol. I've owned numerous 60's-70's Mopars over the years, and l currently own a '69 Plymouth Valiant 2dr (parked it years ago like an idiot), '87 Ram D150 (that we acquired from my wifes mother) and what really brought me here.........

I moved a year ago and needed a 4x4 for the winter months. I Did a lot of research before purchasing and not going to lie, the lifter issues concerns me on the 4th gens, but I felt I had to give it a shot. It's a 2013 RAM 1500 5.7 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4. It was a one owner truck with all dealer service records (oil changed ever 3-5k miles) up to 170,500 miles when it had lifter/cam failure. A 2017 5.7 with 63k miles was swapped in before I purchased it. It is super clean and well cared for. I paid $8700 for it and feel that was pretty reasonable considering 200,000+ mileage trucks in my area are well above that. It does have some body damage on the passenger side rear door and bed, but nothing that bothered me too bad other than wishing it weren't there lol. I have since done an oil change to Pennzoil synthetic with Lube Gard additive. I've driven it about 1200 miles so far. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

Anyway, I didn't get pics of it the day I got it until AFTER getting home up my 6 mile long mud/snow pit of a driveway lol. See ya on the forums!
